You can tell it is working. Numerous offensive linemen are competing for playing time this Fall, as perhaps UM's weakest unit last season has one year of experience in Coach Rodriguez's system under their belts.

Coach Frey spoke with the Freep, and while he didn't reveal any starters, he did say that he is pleased with the level of competition brought by his players.

"On any offensive line, it's about the system," Frey said. "You can talk about cohesiveness, but it's the five starters and the guys who can come in and play at that level as a starter."
