Clemson Running Back C.J. Spiller Wins ACC Player of the Year Award

The ACC media made a big mistake when they voted for All-ACC honors. They relegated C.J. Spiller to special teams, while lesser running backs gained first team honors on the offense. 

Today, the members of the ACC media made up for their mistake, voting Spiller the 2009 ACC Player of the Year. Spiller recorded 29 of the 40 votes cast, finishing ahead of Georgia Tech quarterback Josh Nesbitt.

Thanks to the newly named ACC Player of the Year, Clemson will appear in its first ever ACC Championship this Saturday.
