Carter's week two college football predictions:

Stanford Cardinal (1-0) vs. Wake Forest Demon Deacons (0-1)

With 17 starters back, Jim Harbaugh's Cardinal figures to make a bowl for the first time since 2001. The long trip to Winston-Salem is just Stanford's third East Coast game this decade, and it will be a tough one as Wake really needs a win after dropping the opener to upstart Baylor thanks to an uncharacteristic four turnovers.

Wake Forest disappointed me when they got beat by Baylor last week, but I feel like QB Riley Skinner will lead the Deacons to victory on Saturday. This game could come down to the last few minutes. Gimme the Deacons.
