Carroll Leaves USC: Boise State’s Chris Petersen Top Trojan Candidate

ESPN is reporting that USC head coach Pete Carroll has agreed to a five-year, $7 million dollar deal that will make him the new head coach of the Seattle Seahawks.

Who will replace Carroll at Southern Cal?

That question has Boise State Bronco fans very nervous, maybe for all the right reasons.

Chris Petersen, BSU's dynamic and innovative head coach, would have to be at the top of USC's list for Carroll's replacement.

Petersen has lead Boise State to a 49-4 record in four years as the head man at BSU.

Included in that record are two BCS bowl victories, with wins over Oklahoma in the 2007 Fiesta Bowl and TCU in the 2010 Fiesta Bowl.
