Boise State Starts Fall Camp

Boise State kicked off the 2009 football season yesterday with the commencement of fall practice at East Junior High in Boise, Idaho.

The team divided into two separate practices, one for the veterans and one for the newcomers. The entire team will practice together on Sunday.

The coaches have said this team is one of the best conditioned coming into fall camp, but there is a great difference between being in shape and being in football shape.

While getting in shape is a part of practice, it is not the primary focus.

"It's mostly mental," said junior CB Brandyn Thompson. "You gotta get back into the flow of the game, your reads, your eyes, the little details."
