Much has been said about the supposed weakness of the Big East Conference when measured against the success and talent of the other BCS conferences over the years. With key losses to many of the top teams, due to graduation and early entrants in the NFL draft, the Big East has more of a wide open feel. Coupled with the fact that none of the conferences' teams were included in any of the preseason top 25 rankings, fans of at least six teams can make a solid argument as to why they think their squad will take the field in the Orange Bowl.
