BCS Chaos: Why This Season Has Proven We Need a College Football Playoff

Well, we are barely halfway into the college football season and nearly every single pre-season contender has suffered a loss.

With the exception of Florida, Texas, and Alabama every team in the AP Pre-season Top 10 has suffered a loss and in the tough SEC, you can bet that Florida and Alabama are likely lose to by the end of the regular season.

Then we have Boise State, the team that is most likely to finish undefeated, but has almost absolutely no chance of playing in the National Championship because the play in the horrendous WAC.

The rest of the undefeated teams have games with one-loss teams who will be huge favourites, so these teams have little hope of running the table.
