As Week Four Begins, BCS Championship Is Wide Open

Texas struggles mightily against Wyoming and Texas Tech. Florida has all it can handle at home against a Tennessee team that already had a blemish. USC doesn't look the same against Ohio State and then loses to Washington.

OU, a perennial BCS mainstay, opens the season with a loss to BYU. Oklahoma State makes it to the top five and then loses to Houston.

Week Four looks to be full of surprises as well. In the first game, Ole Miss, another top five team, falls to an unranked and struggling South Carolina team.

A season that started with a fair amount of certainty that Florida would play the winner of Red River Shootout seems as uncertain as any over the past few years.
