Anchors Away: Ohio State Slips By Navy

Stop the presses and pass the Tums.

The Ohio State Buckeyes were 21-point favorites heading into Saturday's midday clash with the Navy Midshipmen, but the Navy wasn't about to surrender.

Buckeye fans have grown fairly accustomed to close finishes and big losses, but to lose to a non-ranked opponent at home on opening day would've been a pillar of salt in an open wound.

But thanks to a Brian Rolle interception, the Buckeyes' season wasn't lost in week one.

Navy had the chance to tie the game at 29 with a two-point conversion, but Ricky Dobbs' pass attempt was plucked out of the air and returned the distance, giving Ohio State a 31-27 lead, and the ball back.
