In 2008, the Clemson Tigers finished 7-6 overall and 4-4 in the ACC. The 4-4 mark was one game shy of ACC Atlantic division winner Florida State, who went 5-3. The Tigers finished the season losing to Nebraska in the Konica-Minolta Gator Bowl.

The 2009 Clemson Tigers have the ability to do great things. The Tigers return some experienced players on both sides of ball. If the Tigers play to their potential, they can definitely contend in the ACC.
