Alabama Looking to Start New Streak Against Virginia Tech

Alabama and Virginia Tech are two very fine programs with two fine coaches, and they possess two of the best records in bowl games.

But looking at the series record between these two teams, one has to wonder why it is so lopsided at 10-1 in favor of Alabama.

With both teams being projected as top 10 teams this year, one might wonder—based solely on records—how this year's opener for both teams will go.

After beating Va. Tech 10 times in a row by a combined score of 346-68, it would seem these two schools were not very equal. To have a losing record is one thing, but to score less than five times as many points as your opponent is simply astounding.
