Alabama Defeats Florida International 40-14: Depth Finally Turns The Tide

With a little over three minutes left in the third quarter the Florida International Golden Panthers finally had to accept reality. They had put up one hell of a fight but Alabama was just too much to handle and they were forced to succumb to their fate.

For almost three full quarters the game may have seemed in doubt. With only six points separated Florida International feisty team from another monumental upset in NCAA football. With 3:15 left in the third quarter it may have seemed possible, then Saban opened the floodgate.  

It was Alabama's depth that finally turned Tide.
