As the clock ticked down in the final second in Atlanta's Georgia Dome and Alabama fans celebrated their hard fought victory over highly ranked Virginia Tech, I  just sat there and soaked it all in.

Victories like the 34-24 win over the No.7 Hokies of Virginia Tech have been a rarity  in the last 15 years.

There was a day when these kind of victories were just part of being a Bama fan. Those glory days may be returning because Alabama has finally found their man.

It would seem that when Alabama's Athletic Director, Mal Moore, hired Nick Saban he hit the jackpot.

As a life long Alabama fan I must admit the last 15 years have been very humbling and  a hard pill to swallow for those of us...
