Alabama Beats Mississippi State Convincingly; One Down and Two to Go

One down and two to go, as Alabama played one of its best games in Starkville, Miss., yesterday and the Crimson Tide rolled over the Bulldogs 31-3.

Now there are only two teams between Alabama being undefeated in the regular season for the second year in a row. That hasn't been accomplished by anyone in the SEC since Alabama did it in 1965 and 1966.

Alabama is set to play UT-Chattanooga next Saturday at 11:00 a.m. CST and then play Auburn the following Friday with the time for kickoff set for 1:30 p.m. CST.

Alabama must win those games and the SEC Championship Game in Atlanta in order to play for the BCS Title in January for the BCS National Championship.
