Virginia Tech has been working hard on next year's recruiting class, and 16 recruits have verbally committed to the Hokies for 2010.

Of the 16 recruits, 10 are from Virginia and one from Washington D.C.  ESPN.com has rated two of the recruits, Zach McCray and Mark Shuman, in the top 150.

The top recruit for the Hokies 2010 class plays defense.  McCray is the ninth rated defensive end in the country, according to Scout.com, and verbally committed to the Hokies in June.
