5-star defensive end Greg Townsend, one of the top overall prospects in the country, committed to USC over TCU at the 2011 Under Armour All-America Game.

He joins one of the top recruiting classes in the country and will line up alongside 5-star defensive end Jalen Grimble next season.

“USC, Baby. Go Trojans,” Townsend said.

Townsend is the son of former NFL star Greg Townsend Sr., who played his college ball at TCU and most of his pro career with the Los Angeles Raiders.
