2011 Cotton Bowl: Aggies score to stay in game, trail 35-24

The referees spent five minutes reviewing how men LSU had on the field for a punt. FIVE minutes!

Turns out they had 12. That 15-yard illegal participation penalty kept the Aggies drive alive and they eventually scored a 4-yard TD on a fade from Tannehill to Kenric McNeal.

But that reminds of the Music City Bowl between North Carolina and Tennessee. The Tar Heels were in a similar situation with about 15 players on the field, but the refs called some five-yard penalty on North Carolina instead of the 15 yard penalty.

Damn, Tennessee got screwed!
