2010 Bowl Matchups are intriguing, even without the BCS slate.

There are 18 bowls to play before we hit New Years Day and plenty of them feature big time programs, big time coaches and/or big time players.

Tonight, the MAACO Las Vegas Bowl takes center stage, as does a team (Boise State) that only weeks ago had national championship aspirations.

Furthermore, with Iowa, Missouri, Maryland and West Virginia all less than a week away from their bowl games, updates about those programs are of interest.

And, it's never to early to start speculating on the Auburn-Oregon BCS National Championship Game.
