2009 College Football Preview: SEC Tight Ends

The SEC will be lacking talent this year at the tight end position. I found only five tight ends to showcase for this year. Some teams only use tight ends as another blocker on the line while some will actually throw to them. With out a question the best tight end in the SEC is D.J. Williams. Williams will have a new quarterback in Ryan Mallett this year. Williams 2008 stats were 61 REC 723 Yards 3 TD. Williams is a 6'2" 251lb Junior. Look for Williams to have another big year with Mallett learning the ropes of SEC play. Williams should easily match last years production. ...
