College football is a phenomenal thing, isn't it?

As an avid follower of the SEC and a tremendous fan of the Georgia Bulldogs, it's impossible to not respect and envy the all out love and dedication that comes with having an allegiance to one team. Your team.

The start of the season for my Dawgs is now only 18-days and a wake-up away, and I can already feel the excitement in the air.

Of course, the Dawgs aren't being looked upon as a preseason No. 1 this time and we no longer have the "star power" that came with having a No. 1 and No. 12 overall NFL draft pick sitting on our roster, but that's irrelevant.

Player losses happen. It's college football, after all, not pro. Good programs ...
