As the streak of UConn Women’s Basketball is celebrated it is simply that—a streak in Women’s Basketball.

There is no down playing the achievement of winning 88 consecutive games; it’s an amazing feat accomplished by a school that is second to none in Women’s Basketball, but to compare this streak to a UCLA Men’s team is ridiculous and a waste of time.
