The Tulsa Golden Hurricane and the Tulane Green Wave squared off at Devlin Fieldhouse in New Orleans on Tuesday for the first time as members of the American Athletic Conference. Tulsa staved off a late push by the Green Wave to earn a 62-55 victory.

Tulsa has now rattled off 10 straight wins after a 6-5 start and is 8-0 in conference play. The Golden Hurricane haven't dropped a conference game in almost a year. Under first-year head coach Frank Haith, who came over from Missouri, Tulsa has won six in a row on the road.

For Tulane, meanwhile, the trajectory has been the opposite. The Green Wave started 10-1 but have stumbled of late, losing four of five games to fall to 4-5 in the AAC. Tuesday's loss against Tulsa continues...
