Sylven Landesberg, Virginia's leading scorer and star player for the past two seasons, is leaving the University of Virginia entirely, according to the official Virginia Sports website. Andy Katz of ESPN.com and other sources report that Landesberg  will declare for the NBA Draft.

Landesberg has not hired an agent yet, although he has left the program and the University.

Landesberg was suspended during Virginia's brief ACC tournament run for "not fulfilling his academic obligations," and rumors have circulated since stating that Landesberg would seek basketball options outside Virginia collegiate basketball.
