Ladies and gentleman, fasten your seat belts. This is going to be a bumpy ride.

Yesterday was the greatest day of basketball I have ever seen. Buzzer-beater after buzzer-beater, every game was one that was a must watch. Everyone was vulnerable.

One day through the tournament and you are seeing just how weak the at-large bids are this year.

You saw Villanova almost lose to Robert Morris, Georgetown lose to Ohio, and Murray State beat Vanderbilt. All of those games sent shocks down the spine of almost every person who filled out a bracket.

We all heard Digger Phelps and Jay Bilas tell us how this was the weakest at-large field they had ever seen, but none of us really knew what that meant.
