NCAA Tournament: Washington Huskies Didn’t Bark, but They Sure Bite

Bark (noun): the harsh sound uttered by a dog in order to give a warning.

The No. 11 seeded Washington Huskies certainly haven't been barking all season. They were viewed as one of the most underachieving teams, almost failing to make the NCAA tournament before their Pac-10 championship title run.

Now, one week after Selection Sunday, they are on their way to the Sweet 16.

Other teams this season have certainly had their share of barking, but evidently wouldn't bite. The No. 1 seed Kansas Jayhawks lost in the second round to the No. 9 seed Northern Iowa Panthers. The No. 2 seed Villanova Wildcats weren't biters as well, losing to the No. 10 seed St. Mary's Gaels.
