I don’t care that my bracket already exploded, it was an exciting opening round. I don’t care that Ohio upset Georgetown, Murray State beat Vanderbilt, Old Dominion beat Notre Dame or that Purdue actually won their game. I don’t care that all those losses made my correct picks pointless; St. Mary’s upsetting Richmond, Missouri beating Clemson, Cornell defeating Temple, and Washington beating Marquette. I was busy watching those games. I was hoping that Ohio would pull it off, cheering as Vanderbilt fell apart at the end, smirking as St. Mary’s took out Richmond with unexpected ease.
