Louisville registered its most impressive win of the season, pulling out a 76-64 win at Connecticut on Saturday night.

The 18th-ranked Cardinals (16-3, 4-1 American) led 34-28 at halftime, but really started to make some distance after Connecticut coach Kevin Ollie was ejected following two quick technicals midway through the second half. The Huskies got as close as seven points in the final five minutes, but Louisville held strong and made free throws down the stretch to clinch the victory.

Louisville got 23 points from Russ Smith and 18 from Montrezl Harrell, who was 8-of-10 from the field and added 13 rebounds for his fourth double-double of the season.
