Little did anyone know that the 1987 Final Four run for the UNLV Rebels would lead to greatness the way that it did for Jerry Tarkanian and Freddie Banks.

There was no doubt that when Tark needed that huge shot in the 1987 season, he turned to "Fearless" Freddie who highlights the Southern Nevada Sports Hall of Fame induction on June 4.

Freddie Banks made 229 career three-pointers from 1984-87 and is still thought of as one of the program's top all-time performers.
