North Carolina 96, Florida State 83—Final

Three players reached the 20-point mark to help the No. 11 North Carolina Tar Heels dispatch the No. 9 Florida State Seminoles 96-83 Saturday afternoon in an ACC showdown.

Joel Berry II (26), Isaiah Hicks (22) and Justin Jackson (22) propelled UNC (16-3, 4-1 ACC), while Theo Pinson added 12 points and 10 rebounds off the bench. Luke Maye grabbed a career-high 15 boards.

Florida State (16-2, 4-1) hung around for most of the contest, but a 12-of-26 mark from the free-throw line stalled the upset bid. Dwayne Bacon led the 'Noles with 18 points.
