Jon Rothstein of CBS Sports reported Sumner did not take part in practice Friday and is listed as day-to-day. 

According to a spokesperson for the Wildcats on Thursday, Sumner was able to squeeze the hands of his teammates as he was carried off the court and is being treated at a local hospital, per ESPN's Bleacher Report - College Basketball
