Da’Sean Butler Scores 19 in First Half, 30-25 WVU

Da'Sean Butler highlighted the first half of the West Virginia Mountaineers-Missouri Tigers second-round NCAA Tournament game with 19 points and two rebounds giving the Mountaineers a 30-25 lead going into halftime.

West Virginia started the game on a slower pace compared to their Big 12 counterparts who love to take advantage of mistakes by using the full-court press defense.

Missouri freshman guard Michael Dixon came off the bench and gave the Tigers a quick seven points to help pull the game to 25-25 with about three minutes left.

The Mountaineers never trailed in the first half taking advantage of the inexperience of the Tigers and using their own speed against them.
