What is a point guard? A point guard is the milk in a basketball team's cereal, the sugar in their coffee, the one indispensable part that determines how the team is going to function. Every team has one, but which point guards remaining in the sweet sixteen are an asset to the team(See Washington's Isaiah Thomas in the first two rounds) and which are liabilities.
