Shortstop Caleb Hamilton belted what should’ve been a home run in the bottom of the seventh inning as his Oregon State Beavers squared off against the Texas Longhorns in an NCAA Division I Baseball Championship regional matchup Friday.

Texas center fielder Zane Gurwitz had other plans.

With a perfectly timed jump, Gurwitz scaled the wall and plucked Hamilton’s bomb from over the fence, saving his team a valuable run.

Oregon State did prevail 5-4, however.
