Sugar Bowl 2017: Auburn vs. Oklahoma TV Schedule, Time and Odds

The 2017 Sugar Bowl should feature one of bowl season's best offensive displays when the No. 14 Auburn Tigers get together with the No. 7 Oklahoma Sooners. Auburn (8-4) rode a strong rushing attack to a solid campaign, toppling notable programs such as LSU and Arkansas but going down at the hands of Clemson and Alabama while battling one of the nation's toughest schedules. Oklahoma (10-2) had fewer problems, losing two of three against ranked competition to ...

Rose Bowl 2017: USC vs. Penn State TV Schedule, Time and Odds

The 2017 Rose Bowl is a showcase of the nation's best turnaround stories when the No. 9 USC Trojans collide with the No. 5 Penn State Nittany Lions. Both programs have emerged from years of sanctions to make one of the top bowls of the season. The Trojans (9-3) stormed back to relevancy with future Heisman Trophy candidates at quarterback and running back. Coincidentally enough, so did the Nittany Lions (11-2), a team also boasting enough talent ...

Alabama vs. Clemson: Top X-Factors for CFP National Championship 2017

The 2017 College Football Playoff National Championship will be a rematch of last year's matchup between the Alabama Crimson Tide and Clemson Tigers.  Both teams had little trouble in the semifinals against Washington and Ohio State, respectively. Alabama's defense continues to be dominant, holding the Huskies under 200 yards of total offense and only one possession in opposing territory after halftime.  Clemson continues to ride the arm of quarterback Deshaun Watson to great success. He had 316 ...

Clemson and Deshaun Watson Are Worthy Alabama Antidote the Sport Needs

GLENDALE, Ariz. — For the sake of the game, it had to be this way. For the sanity of the game, this is what it has come to. Who can beat Alabama? If you can no longer stomach all things Alabama, if the thought of the Tide winning the national title for the fourth time in six years gives you agita, if the reality of Alabama sucking the life and drama from the sport leaves you drained ...

Ohio State vs. Clemson: Score and Reaction for 2016 Fiesta Bowl

While much of the focus throughout this season has been on what Clemson's offense can do, it was the Tigers defense that smothered the Ohio State Buckeyes in a 31-0 win in the 2016 Fiesta Bowl.  The victory sends Clemson to the College Football Playoff National Championship against Alabama, which defeated Washington in the Peach Bowl, to determine a national champion.   Per USA Today's Paul Myerberg, this is the worst margin of defeat for a team with ...

Alabama Is College Football’s Monotonous Monster That Won’t Stop

ATLANTA — You don't have to like it. In fact, they probably prefer you don't. You don't have to like that your offense will, at some point, allow a touchdown to the Alabama Crimson Tide defense. Or that the team's backup running back, Bo Scarbrough—a 228-pound sculpted ball of rage—is capable of carrying your starting defenders great distances by his lonesome.  You don't have to like any of it. Not the unrelenting flow of talent that enters ...
