Normally at this time of year Florida fans are bathing in the euphoria of a championship and counting the days that lead up to the kickoff of the next successful season.

Normally Florida fans are feeling confident and expecting the beloved Gators to run roughshod over the SEC Eastern Division on their way to another SEC Championship and a potential shot at the BCS Championship.

Alas, these are not normal times down in Gainesville, Florida. 

You see, Florida is in the middle of a strange and potentially dangerous experiment.
