Three Arizona State Sun Devils Sign As Undrafted Free Agents

Three Arizona State Sun Devils signed contracts with NFL teams this week.

Wide receiver Chris McGaha, running back Dimitri Nance, and cornerback Pierre Singfield were all offered contracts in their pursuit of making the roster for the 2010 NFL season.

Chris McGaha, who was the only Sun Devil to enter the draft and not hear his name called, was signed by the Jacksonville Jaguars. Leading up to the draft, McGaha was the highest-graded draft choice among the five Sun Devils entering. His draft stock plummeted as the draft grew near due to a recurring hamstring injury.

McGaha will most likely make the active roster. He is a valuable wide receiver with a good combination of size, agility, body control, and great hands...
