Since the University of Miami joined the ACC, it has been a team with the potential to compete for the conference crown.
Six years later, this is a program that has failed to take over a league that has no clear cut front runner, other than Virginia Tech.
I know that former head coach Larry Coker drove this program to the ground as far as the undertaker would allow him to dig before he was fired. At first, I was one of those that was sympathetic to the old man. Then I saw just how far this team dropped off the map.
With head coach Randy Shannon righting the ship each season that he's been at the helm, this has to be the year.
2010 needs to be year that the Hurricanes finally capture that allusive ACC champions...
