Everybody has been talking about the matchup between No. 1 LSU and No. 2 Alabama like it's the real National Championship game.
I have news for you, it's not.
It's just a regular season showdown between two top SEC schools.
People have dubbed this the "real" National Championship because the overall consensus is that LSU and Alabama are the best two teams in the country.
That could very well be true, which is why the two could still meet in the BCS National Championship.
That's right. These teams still could face off again this year.
If LSU wins the game, Alabama will drop to an 8-1 record. With this record, they will likely fall to fifth in the nation behind Boise State.
