Jared Williams Injury Video: SMU RB Leaves Bowl Game with Scary Leg Injury

The SMU Mustangs weren't exactly all smiles on Saturday, despite a dominant 28-6 victory over the Pittsburgh Panthers at the BBVA Compass Bowl in Birmingham, Ala.

Both teams were saddened (and sickened) by the loss of Jared Williams, who left the game early in the fourth quarter after breaking his femur on his 11th run of the day. The freshman running back suffered the injury on a hit from Pitt defensive Andrew Taglianetti, who immediately crumbled to the turf in horror and disgust after seeing what he'd done to Williams' leg.

The snap of Williams' femur was so loud that ESPN's sideline microphones picked it up.
