After reviewing endless hours of film on spring practice and discussing the positives of each player, coach Gene Chizik has announced that Cameron Newton is the starting quarterback for Auburn.

He also cautioned Newton about letting up when he encouraged the other Auburn quarterbacks to work hard and push him.
