Alabama got the ball back :55 seconds left with two timeouts, and you would think that they would take a shot at going down field right?

Wrong.

Instead this Alabama team runs a screen pass to a hurt Marquis Maze that only goes from two yards, then runs a draw play to Trent Richardson for no gain. 

Instead of taking a shot or two down field, Nick Saban and this offense decides to play it safe by letting the clock run out. 

Which is just fine, as both team’s defenses have been playing lights out in this game. However, the decision to be conservative may come back to haunt this Alabama team.
