In a year which North Carolina won their second national title in five years, as well as Duke returning to the Sweet 16 for the first time since 2006, the ACC this year is going to be once again buzzing with exciting players, outstanding freshman, and of course great coaches.
In 2008-09, the ACC sent Florida State, Boston College, Maryland, Wake Forest, Clemson, North Carolina, and Duke to the Big Dance while Miami and Virginia Tech were represented in the NIT.
Virginia sent former coach Dave Leiato packing after four seasons and brought in Tony Bennett from Washington State, where he took the Cougars to the Sweet 16 in 2008.
