This season has been looked at as somewhat of a down year for the SEC. It has been full of some teams being a complete disappointment, while others are finishing exactly where they are supposed to be.

John Calipari has been as successful as predicted in making his move to Lexington, and Kevin Stallings of Vanderbilt and Bruce Pearl of Tennessee have done great things with their programs, seeing as how Pearl kicked one of his leading scorers from last season off the team.

The players have also been some of the most highly-touted athletes seen in the SEC in recent years. Thanks very much to Kentucky for a lot of the talent.
