No. 1 Indiana Survives Upset-Minded Georgetown 82-72 in Overtime

The No. 1 Indiana Hoosiers defeated the Georgetown Hoyas 82-72 in overtime Tuesday night to win the Progressive Legends Classic in Brooklyn.

The second half went back and forth, appearing that a regulation upset for the Hoyas was possible for a while, but the Hoosiers battled back behind a full-fledged team approach on offense.

In overtime, Jordan Hulls and freshman point guard Yogi Ferrell paced Indiana at the start, giving them an early five-point lead. Tom Crean's group never looked back, stretching the lead and flexing their muscle as the nation's top-ranked team.
