Michigan State will have a chance to defend its conference championship.

The Spartans came back from a 16-point first-half deficit to defeat Maryland 62-58 in the Big 10 tournament semifinal. The Spartans turned up the defensive pressure in the second half, and limited the Terrapins' offensive opportunities.

Michigan State will meet regular-season conference champion Wisconsin in the tournament finale Sunday at the United Center in Chicago.l
