Larry Brown Reportedly Will Interview for SMU Head Coaching Position

Hall of Fame coach Larry Brown is reportedly interested in returning to the college ranks. ESPN is reporting that their own Andy Katz has learned from a source that Brown will interview for SMU's head coaching position on Sunday.  

The coaching vacancy was created after the school fired Matt Doherty. He had been the Mustangs coach for six seasons. 

Brown has not coached basketball since 2010, when he roamed the sidelines for the NBA's Charlotte Bobcats. The Bobcats were just one stop in his extensive, and well-traveled, NBA and college career.
