The comeback kids have done it again. After being down 17 points in the second half, Iowa State stormed back to earn a 70-66 win over Kansas Saturday night in Kansas City, Missouri. The victory gives the Cyclones their second Big 12 tournament title in a row.
Georges Niang led the way for the Cyclones with 19 points and five rebounds in the come-from-behind effort, doing everything necessary to help his team win. Three other players finished in double figures, including a big showing from Abdel Nader, who had 13 points and two important free throws off the bench.
