The 2012 ACC Tournament kicked off Wednesday, May 25 in Greensboro, North Carolina.
No. 8 seed Georgia Tech gave the tournament a shock early when the Yellow Jackets upset No. 1 Florida State in the opening game on Wednesday. No. 3 North Carolina State then beat No. 6 Miami and No. 2 North Carolina shut out No. 7 Wake Forest to close out the first day.
In the round-robin tournament, the winner from each pool advances to the Conference Championship game, which will be played Sunday at noon.
Here is how the pools are separated:
Pool A: No. 1 Florida State, No. 4 Virginia, No. 5 Clemson, No. 8 Georgia Tech
