Day 3 of the 2014 ACC baseball tournament promised to bring about some highly anticipated action, as No. 6 Maryland faced off against No. 3 Virginia, No. 4 Duke took on No. 9 Georgia Tech and No. 1 Miami met No. 5 Clemson.
Thursday's action certainly lived up to its billing.
Both Duke and Miami entered the day attempting to avenge some tough losses from Wednesday's contests while Georgia Tech and Clemson looked to keep their hot streaks alive.
The competition is stiff, and that's been clear over the first couple days of the tournament, as only one game was decided by more than three runs.
