Alabama Football Recruiting: Tide Gets Star Running Back for Class of 2012

According to Scout.com’s Andrew Bone, the Alabama Crimson Tide football team now has its seventh commitment for the Class of 2012. Kenyan Drake, a star running back at Hillgrove High School in Powder Springs, Georgia, chose the Tide over Georgia, Georgia Tech, Purdue and Tennessee, among others. Bone—who also writes a weekly recruiting column for The Tuscaloosa News—reports the 6’0”, 184-pounder had 1,000 rushing yards and over 500 yards receiving last season.
